A casino had its license suspended after failing to take adequate measures over a problem gambler.
Christine Keenan spent over $6,6M at the casino over 3 years and was jailed for stealing money from her employer to pay her debts and continue gambling. According to the Gambling Act, the casino should offer advice to Keenan, or at least, information about problem gambling.
The Gambling Commission issued a two-day suspension to the casino last month.
Several casino staff members were still at work on Monday, despite their employer being closed to the public.
