The Normandie casino, an original Southern California card club, has opened a luxurious VIP blackjack section designed for players who want more privacy.

Decorated with fine artwork and water features, the new section has also plasma TVs and separated sitting areas.

Players filled the room anxious to try their luck while enjoying the complimentary food and drinks.

This room was the first step in the plans of renovation the casino officials have. Plans include the improvement of the casino, the restaurant and the showroom. Spokespersons from the casino said: “We may be the oldest casino in Southern California, but we’ll definitely not look like that.”
