The new eastern Iowa Riverside Casino and Golf Resort is less than two weeks from inaugurating its facilities. The casino has 30 table games, a poker room with 14 tables and about 1,200 slot machines.

The casino will employee 900 workers and cost nearly $140 million. The estimated payroll will be of $17 million. The casino complex will have a restaurant, a 200-room hotel, a spa and a convention center. As for the golf course, guests will have to wait until next summer.
